Leaving on vacation for two weeks

It’s been a fun last few weeks here but it’s time for some vacation time. I know, I haven’t earned it and that I really should be staying in Redmond to work on DVB-x :).

I’ll be back in the office August 20. In the meantime spend some time on theGreenButton.com. And if you’re interested in HD DVD I hear that Peter (who I handed the feature off to) will be writing an article on it and posting it to The Media Center Sandbox.

You’re going on vacation at this time while one of your fellow MSFT employees is saying that results from Beta 2 and following Vista releases are poor enough to again revise the Vista ship date?!

Enjoy your vacation - and thanks for all the notes and blog entries for the past few months. Although I may not like ALL the answers (and most of them I really do), I for one appreciate the honesty and candor. It’s nice to get the straight scoop, and as I’m also in IT, I understand that sometimes, what you want just doesn’t make the final cut.

Mike A, I’m not a Microsoft employee. And besides, my post said that everyone should get a week off ;).
