New Music Now Playing
Sometimes it’s the little things that get me really excited about Media Center on Windows Vista. For instance we updated the Music Now Playing experience from:

musicnowplaying Hosted on ZooomrI love the darker color and what you can’t see is how the background animates. Very cool. We also made it easier to launch a photo slideshow by including that command right on this page.

Pity about the loss of the giant track number, I always thought that looked really funky…. and in a Vista MCE optimized for the 16:9 worl there is lots of space to have giant funky numbers. The total track time written through the current playing track time was a creative touch.
Now in the improved UI we just get them in the standard text size and font in a booring list…. YAWN.
BRING back the GIANT TRACK NUMBER
Still not enoug space for album names like “The Ultimate History Of Rock ‘n’ Roll Collection – Chapter 10 – Those Were The Days”.

Yah, not what they want to hear, but I prefer the old one I’m afraid. For several small reasons.
I loved the dark blue and the buttons on the left, but I miss the giant track number, that was very nice, So You can easyly see the track number.. and it was discreat on my poit of view… I also Like Bigger Letters so I can Read the Track Name from far… And wold be very nice If Microsoft add one way to view the Lyrics on “Now Playing” together with the album art.
