Last week I had a problem with my Media Center where the Media Center Receiver service was crashing every few minutes. This made it impossible to use since crash reports were coming up faster then I could dismiss them and my hard drive was filling up with event logs. Fortunately I have the priviledge of bringing my machine into work and having the experts figure out what’s wrong. The problem it turned out is that there is a conflict between Media Center and Morgan Stream Switcher. I don’t understand what the conflict is, but there is a conflict, and once I uninstalled Morgan Stream Switcher I could use my machine again.
